Undefeated IBF world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (17-0, 17 KOs) stopped former olympian Dominic Breazeale (17-1, 15 Kos) in the 7th round of their bout which took place in Joshua's back yard in London, England.
The fight started out with both men confident meeting in the center of the ring. It wasn't long before Joshua started to dominate his opponent rocking him with a big uppercut in round two which sent Breazeale reeling and unstable on his feet. Breazeale recovered and finished up the round but did not look good.
Joshua used a great jab throughout to set up his power shots and made the fight look easy as he broke Breazeale down over 6 rounds. In the seventh round Joshua landed a big shot to put Breazeale down and though he got up he did was visibly finished. Joshua dropped Breazeale again prompting the referee to stop the fight in round seven.
After the fight, Joshua made mention of fighting the very talented Joseph Parker from New Zealand who himself has been very impressive and on paper looks to be an excellent challenger to the champion Joshua.
