Current UFC lightweight title holder, Conor McGregor, has been granted a boxing license in the state of California.

First reported by Ariel Helwani of MMAfighting.com, McGregor, 28, has been going back and forth with Floyd Mayweather in the media about a potential bout between the two superstars. Both have responded to each other in their respective personalities and have ganered enough interest to make this cross-promotion possible.
