Brooklyn - Former 154 lb champion Jermall Charlo (26-0 20 Kos) put on a show in his debut at 160 lbs stopping his opponent Jorge Sebastian Heiland (29-5-2 16 KOs) in 4 rounds.
The fight started out slow in the first round with both men feeling one another out throwing jabs and measuring one another out. The next round saw Charlo stepping up the pressure landing a big hook dropping Heiland.
In between rounds, the doctor was seen in the corner attending to Heiland who seemed to have suffered a leg injury. The doctor allowed the fight to continue and Charlo started right where he left off in the previous round landing right hands and will and confounding Heiland with excellent lateral movement. The round closed with Charlo almost closing the show once again.
Round four started with the doctors checking on Heiland once again much to the crowd's dismay as the boo's were felt throughout the arena. The action commenced and Charlo jumped all over Heiland landing a big uppercut dropping Heiland who rose to his feet on unsteady legs falling to the mat as referee Benji Estevev stopped the contest at 2:13 of round 4
