Fight fans rejoice! Showtime releases it's upcoming boxing schedule and it's a good one.

Showtime Sports released it's upcoming boxing schedule and a lot of the match up's should have fight fans everywhere excited.

April 9 features recently crowned IBF heavyweight world champion Charles Martin taking on Britain's rising heavyweight contender Anthony Joshua.

The very next weekend April 16 features the return of the very exciting Gary Russell Jr. taking on Patrick Hyland with Jose Pedraza in the co-main event.

April 30 offers up a very good card featuring Lucian Bute taking on the Badou Jack in what will likely be a highly competitive encounter between two great body punching fighter's.

May 21 WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder takes on the always dangerous Alexander Povetkin. Also in action Denis Lebedev takes on Victor Emilio Ramirez.

Jun 11 features the return of "Siberian Rocky" Ruslan Provodnikov battling John Molina Jr. on a card which also features undefeated super welterweight sensation, Demetrius Andrade squaring off against Charles Hatley

Jun 25 brings the highly anticipated match-up between two of the world's top welterweights Keith 'One Time' Thurman meets former IBF welterweight champion 'Showtime' Shawn Porter for the WBA welterweight title held by Thurman. On the undercard, Abner Mares will duke it out with Jesus Cuellar in what is sure to be a good one. 

Also announced, Leo Santa Cruz will take on Carl Frampton with the date to be announced soon. 

Fight fans should rejoice as this is a very solid lineup of fights for the spring/summer seasons

Showtime is really putting up a strong showing so far and is clearly committed to raising the bar in the sport.
