LOS ANGELES - Robert Garcia, 2012 trainer of the year and older brother of former lightweight world champion, Mikey Garcia, was present at the Abner Mares-Jesus Cuellar press conference  and spoke to the media on Mikey fighting Manny Pacquiao.

Garcia [MIkey], 28, will fight for another world title on January 28, 2017 as he takes on WBC world lightweight champion, Dejan Zlaticanin, as the co-feature of Carl Frampton-Leo Santa Cruz rematch. Garcia [Robert] stated that his brother is still very much open to working with his former promoter in Top Rank, especially in a bout against Pacquiao.
