LOS ANGELES - Heavyweight Chris Arreola is finding himself once again, in a world title bout as he faces WBC world champion Deontay Wilder on July 16.
Both fighters gave their take on the FOX broadcasted bout and what each has to do to secure a victory. Wilder (36-0, 35 KOs) was in the midst of stepping into the ring with former Russian gold medalist Alexander Povetkin, however, a failed drug test on Povetkin's side put a halt to those plans. Arreola (36-4-1, 31 KOs) now finds himself in his third world title shot and hopes this is the moment he can make history by becoming the first Mexican-American world title holder.
