*Update: As of 5/4/2017 he is officially with the UFC per FoxSports*

Per Professional Fighter’s League/ WSOF President Ray Sefo, Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje (17-0) has signed with the UFC.

Gaethje was the promotion's lightweight champion and beat everyone there was to beat in his division, one of them twice. Of his 17 wins, only two come by way of decision, the rest are KO/TKO’s and one decision. Any promotion would be willing to outbid each other to sign the 28-year-old finisher. Young and up and coming fighters take notice, several former champs from Sefo's promotion are now UFC bound so fighting for a promotion like WSOF and the upcoming Professional Fighter's League is a good way to get there if that's where you want to be.

He’s got some interesting fights in the UFC when you look at their division. Nate Diaz, Beneil Dariush, Al Iaquinta just came off a great win at the last event in Nashville.  Those are just some marketable options to bring in against Gaethje for his debut. Further up the rankings, you have Khabib Nurmagomedov, Eddie Alvarez, Tony Ferguson, Rafael Dos Anjos and of course the current champion Conor McGregor.

What do you think would make a good first fight for this undefeated wrecking machine?
