The first event after the UFC has been sold to WME-IMG since the week after UFC 200. Robbie Lawler (27-10) is set to defend his title against Tyron Woodley (15-3) in the main event with Rose Namajunas (5-2) facing Karolina Kowalkiewicz (9-0) in what is likely to put the winner next in line for the Strawweight title. Are we going to see a new UFC on this pay-per-view?

You will have to tune in to find out, in the mean time Frontproof Media will attempt to give some forethought on how the main event, and co-main event might go down.

Robbie Lawler vs. Tyron Woodley

During UFC Tonight both Daniel Cormier and Kenny Florian have Woodley picked to win this bout. They cite the explosiveness in his hands among his many talents that could earn him a victory. However, most of Lawler’s recent bouts have been absolute wars in the cage. Many times he was hurt, nearly knocked out only to come back and earn a victory. If Lawler can weather the early storm from Woodley, he can win this.

Rose Namajunas vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz

Namajunas has been improving with every fight since her loss to Carla Esparza. Since she has scored two submission victories and even avenged her loss to Tecia Torres. Kowalkiewicz is undefeated but most of her wins come by decision which might favor Namajunas. Unless Kowalkiewicz can dominate during the stand up, chances are Namajunas, who has been dominating on the ground can add another win to her record at UFC 201

Presentation can reveal a lot and even though the ink on the UFC sale may be still drying, keep an eye out for anything new during this pay-per-view event. Unless the fights are so good, they distract you. This card overall is pretty good, check out the event info below:
