Gegard Mousasi vs. Rafael Lovato Jr. Added to Bellator’s January 26 Card

11/20/18

Fresh off his victory over Rory MacDonald, Gegard Mousasi has another scheduled title defense against Rafael Lovato Jr. when Bellator goes to The Forum in 2019. Lovato Jr. has a high level submission grappling game; on top of being a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu he is undefeated in MMA.

The two middleweights serve as the co-main event for the final fight of the heavyweight grand-prix which features Fedor Emelianenko vs. Ryan Bader. Both fighters advanced in October when they won their fights at Bellator 207 and 208 to set up this match which will crown a new heavyweight champion.
