Phil Hawes, fresh off his debut at WSOF 31 will be back in action again at WSOF: 32 Moraes vs. Hill 2 on July 30 from the XFINITY Arena in Everett, Washington. He will be facing Louis Taylor (12-3) in the main card broadcast on NBCSN that includes two championship bouts with Marlon Moraes (16-4-1) vs. Josh Hill (14-1) and Alexandre Almeida (18-5) vs. Lance Palmer (10-2). Hawes is replacing Shamil Gamzatov who was forced to withdraw citing a personal commitment.

We hope to see Shamil back in action soon, and we salute Phil Hawes for having the courage and willpower to return to action less than two months after his first fight with us.

Taylor made his debut at WSOF 29 where he finished Cory Devela in the first round with a guillotine choke. He has five-straight wins over all and looks to keep up the momentum against the undefeated Jackson-Winklejon trained Hawes. Half of Taylor’s wins come by way of submission and they may come in handy against the likes of Hawes who was a 2009 junior college national wrestling champion for Iowa Central Community College.

While still building a record, of Hawes’ four wins, three come by way of KO/TKO which means if he can avoid the clinch of Taylor and any grappling on the ground he could pound out another victory.

Additional preliminary card bouts for WSOF 32 will be announced soon. Tickets are on sale priced from $29, tickets for WSOF 32: Moraes vs. Hill II are on sale at XFINITYArenaEverett.com and WSOF.com.
