Ronda Rousey making a move to WWE?

Published September 4, 2017

Former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was recently featured in a WWE.com segment with fellow MMA training partners Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.

The three were featured in a post-match interview after teammate Shayna Baszler won her second-round match in the WWE Mae Young Classic tournament.  During the interview, the three were approached by WWE stars, Bayley and Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair.

In the scene Rousey could be heard saying:

“You name the time, you name the place”

This appears to be setting the tone for what may be a transition into Women's professional wrestling for the former UFC star.

Rousey is no stranger to professional wrestling or the WWE, making an appearance with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson during Wrestlemania in 2015.

Rousey was once one of the UFC's brightest stars and at one time looked unbeatable in her rise to the top. A move like this would make a lot of sense for her, and the WWE who would certainly benefit from her immense popularity and tough girl persona.
