World Series of Fighting (WSOF) announced today that they have signed two heavyweights to the promotion. Lorenzo “The Dream Killer” Hood (9-3) and Shawn Jordon (18-7) will be joining the WSOF with Hood making his debut at WSOF 31. In MMA the heavyweight division is not as active as most fans would like, so these additions are sure to bring some highlight reel finishes for the promotion.

Hood, the Chicago, Ill native and former professional football player has finished all of his opponents by way of KO/TKO, usually in the first round. His opponent for WSOF 31 is soon to be announced and Frontproof Media will keep fans posted when it is. Jordan has fought in Strikeforce and Bellator MMA and also sports a high rate of finishes by KO/TKO along with several submissions. He is coming off a four-year career with the UFC with his most notable win ever Pat Barry in round one by way of TKO.

These heavyweights are in their prime and should make some waves in the WSOF heavyweight division.

We are thrilled to welcome Shawn Jordan and Lorenzo Hood to our ever-growing roster of world-class athletes, and look forward to seeing both of them compete in our heavyweight division soon.
— WSOF President Ray Sefo
